The Old Governor's Mansion was built in 1930 as Louisiana's White House. Today the mansion houses a museum and acts as the headquarters for the Foundation for Historical Louisiana. The museum features furnishings and artifacts from nine Louisiana Governors, a grand ballroom, French wallpaper, crystal chandeliers and a marble staircase.
